Texelodes consists of 12 compositions, all inspired by or written on Texel, the island where I was born and where I come back often to escape from the hectic city life in Rotterdam and Amsterdam. During the past 20 years, Texel has never let me down to give me strength in my existential quest and always offers her rich, raw and sheer beauty to calm my mind and reset my senses. You could consider these 12 odes for Texel (TXOs) an act of reciprocity. The odes contain many personal experiences and memories from over the years. They breathe my searching and findings.
